We take great pleasure and pride in inviting you all to "Oncology 2018" the International conference on multidisciplinary management of common cancers to be held at Hotel Le Meridien, Kochi on the 28th, 29th and 30th of September 2018.
International faculty on board this conference includes Dr. Saby George, Dr. Grace DY, Dr. Patrick Bolland (all from Rosewell Park Cancer Institute, New York, USA), Dr. Kurian Joseph (Canada), Dr. Aju Mathew (USA), Prof. M. V. Pillai (USA), Dr. Ajith Venniyur (Oman) and Dr. Vimoj Nair (Canada). National faculty of international repute, including Prof. Dr. Sudeep Gupta, Dr. Kumar Prabhash and Prof. Biswanth Dwibashi, Dr. Vijayanand Reddy, Dr. Rakesh Jalali etc. are all part of this conference.
The agenda for this 3 day conference includes updation of our understanding on multidisciplinary management of common cancers including locally advanced metastatic cancers current controversies and newer developments in the field of oncology; sessions on Immunotherapy, Proton therapy and Targeted therapies. 'Meet the professor' interactive sessions will be organized for Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, Genitourinary Cancers & Immunotherapy. Course on Clinical Cancer Research Methodology Clinical trials & Biostatistics, Basic course on immunotherapy and Dr. Manoj Guptas Radiobiology Course are all being conducted as part of the conference and can be attended by those who would like to embrace the opportunity. Session on e-contouring will also be available for those who are interested in it.
Paper and Poster presentations are invited, the best 3 of each will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. Quiz programme each in Medical oncology, Radiation oncology, Radiobiology and Surgical oncology are also being organized. We are delighted to inform you that for the most deserving Post Graduate Students in Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology, we have managed to offer to International Fellowships (One each) and two National Fellowships in Centres of Excellence. More fellowships will be there subject to availability of funds. The Candidates will have to apply by submitting a Project detailing what they would like to do and learn. The selection will be based on an Interview.
